Finally the ESOS issue, which has dragged on from 6th March 2008, has been settled on 15 April 2008 after the Unions met with the Top Management Team together with representatives from the Board Of Directors in Kuala Lumpur on 15th April 2008. The meeting agreed to allocate an extra share of 500 shares each to the Non-Executive employees of TM Group who has served for more than 10 years
Subsequent Roadshow, together with the Unions, will be conducted soon to elucidate the detail of the scheme.
With the above settlement, the Unions have called off its proposed picket scheduled to be held on 25 April 2008 together with the rest of its action plan to submit a memorandum to the PM and to write an appeal letter to all Members of Parliament. The Unions has also agreed to lift its boycott on all TM meetings and official functions that has been in force since February 2008.
UTES Executive Council would like to thank all members for your patience and undivided support and we hope that support of this nature should continue.
However, other issues that have not been settled will be dealt with before the end of April 2008 when the three Unions NUTE,UTES & SUTE) will have another round of meeting with the outgoing CEO YBhg Dato Sri Abdul Wahid Omar and the incoming CEO YBhg Dato’ Zamzamzairani Mohd Isa to discuss and resolve the outstanding issues in particular the issue on Outsourcing.

Alhamdulillah,Syabas dan TAHNIAH!
Kepada Tuan Presiden serta rakan-rakan seperjuangan yang terlibat secara langsung atau sebaliknya, bersemangat kental memperjuangkan hak ahli-ahli UTES khasnya, juga kepada NUTE dan SUTE amnya tanpa jemu-jemu dan karuan. Syabas juga kepada rakan-rakan dibarisan hadapan seperti Ahli Jawatankuasa yang diberi mandat & kepercayaan mengendali / menyuara dengan begitu berani dan gah demi memperjuangkan yang harus lagi terbaik!.. sekalipun dalam keadaan pahit untuk mengelolakan tindakan berpiket dan menghantar borang kemusykilan kepada pihak pengurusan..
Usaha inilah UTES serta kumpulan dari Semenajung (NUTE) atau Sabah (SUTE) yang samawaktu dengannya, kadang-kadang kurang jelas dimata ahli-ahli. Namun berkat kesefahaman jitu serta iringan doa-doa sepi dari segelintir kita sebagai ahli, dari keberkatan permuafakatan kita, rahmat berkesatuan dan maka sekaligus ianya menjadikan kita semua utuh! teguh! kukuh! gagah! lagi bermaruah!
Sayugia, semoga dihari-hari mendatang, secara peribadi saya atau mewakili segelintir pada kebanyakan rakan dalam UTES (khasnya) agar kita sentiasa bersama dan terus bersama memperjuangkan yang hak dan memelihara maruah agar segala rintangan demi rintangan sama-sama kita atasi... demi perpaduan kita ini, kita tidak bersubahat kepada yang batil atas sebab kita tahu... Mari, marilah kita beridiri sama tinggi, duduk sama rendah! Tambahkanlah keeratan antara kita supaya ianya lebih kukuh untuk 'mengkaliskan' kezaliman yang sentiasa ada disekeliling kita.. Yakinlah! hanya bersama UTES boleh mengembeling menghindar ketidakadilan pengurusan hari ini, esok dan hari-hari mendatang... DENGAN IZIN MU JUA YA ALLAHURABBI!

Tahniah diucapkan. Tetapi kenapa pihak union cepat berpuas hati dgn tawaran tersebut? Kakitangan Celcom tanpa union mendapat minima 3000 unit saham walaupun berkhidmat kurang dari 10 tahun???
Kenapa kita di TM di ANAK TIRIKAN??? ADAKAH KITA TELAH BERPUASHATI DENGAN TUNTUTAN ESOS DAN TERUS BERDIAM DIRI???!!!

Gurlshunter..... Saya tengok UTES professional dlm menangani isu. ESOS hanya satu drpd isu dan UTES dpt breakthrough. Itu yg penting. Kita tidak boleh banding TM dan Celcom macam apple to apple. Kedua-duanya adalah dua syarikat yg berbeza dari sudut entiti dan juga boleh dikatakan kedua-dua syarikat bersaing sekarang setelah demerger kick-off. Pekerja2 dari kedua-dua syarikat adalah ahli UTES. Saya tidak percaya UTE berdiam sendiri. Pemimpinnya sedang merancang apa next move mereka untuk kebaikan ahlinya. Saya sokong 100% perjuangan UTES dan berdoa pemimpinnya sihat belaka untuk terus berjuang. HIDUPPPP UTES. Agi Idup Agi Ngalaban

Tak terfikirkah Dato Seri Wahid bahawa duit TMlah yang menyelamatkan Celcom? Another thing, untuk perhatian anonymous, kakitangan Celcom bukan ahli UTES. Tak payah jadi ahli pun boleh dapat lebih dari ahli yang menyumbang setiap bulan. Fikir fikirlah....
Saya setuju dgn gurlshnter tentang adanya perbezaan di antara TM dan Celcom. Memang x adil. Masa tenat TM obat....masa senang lupa TM. DAWO memang x fikir krn akan cabut lari dan tinggalkan kita dlm kesengsaraan. Saya difahamkan bahawa pekerja Celcom sudah menyertai UTES tapi x tahulah selepas de-merger ini.
Whatever it is, existing member of UTES must be united to prepare for what is the co. going to do next in regard to human capital. Adakah kita ini akan berkhidmat hingga pesaraan ataupun akan diberhentikan secara terhormat.

Pasal human capital, for sure akan dikurangkan pada masa terdekat unless network broadband kita betul2 HEBAT & satu lagi, ketelusan serta keikhlasan TOP MANAGEMENT selepas demerger adalah penting.
